No, you can use your existing Square account. If you don't have one, we'll help you set up a new Square account during onboarding.
What are Square's processing fees?
Square's standard processing fees apply: 2.6% + 10¢ for in-person transactions and 2.9% + 30¢ for online transactions. There are no additional fees from GolfTap for payment processing.
Can I use my existing Square hardware?
Yes! GolfTap works with all Square hardware including Terminal, Reader, Register, and Stand. You can keep using your existing devices.
How quickly do payments process?
Payments process immediately through Square's network. Funds typically deposit to your bank account within 1-2 business days, following Square's standard settlement schedule.
Is my payment data secure?
Absolutely. All payment processing is handled securely by Square, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. GolfTap never stores or processes sensitive payment information.
